Good news for RKBA lovers

So, this is political, which I (to date) haven’t written about. Supporters of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms have a lot of good backing for the upcoming Heller hearing in the Supreme Court. To date, the Vice President, 55 senators, and 250 members of the House have all signed their support for the individual right of the people to keep and bear arms, regardless of where they live.

For those who don’t know, the Heller case revolves around D.C.’s unconstitutional banning of all firearms in the city and attempts by anti-gun politicians to push that boundary into Maryland, Virginia, and other surrounding states. Of course MD has bought into the anti propaganda, but VA has kept a somewhat more level head and respects each and every citizen’s God-given right (just like those other rights in… what’s that thing called?… oh yeah, the BILL OF RIGHTS).

This is a HUGE step in forcing DC to repeal their current stance and allow their citizens to carry firearms to protect themselves and their loved ones within city limits. I, for one, am very anxious to hear how this goes because this is the first step in putting the Second Amendment back into the hands of the people, where it was always meant to be – not just in DC, but in ALL states.

For those interested in having some good ammo to throw at the anti’s, read The Second Amendment Primer put out by Palladium Press. It’s chock full of the history behind the one Right that keeps all other Rights in the hands of the citizens of the United States.  In case you all haven’t figured it out yet, I’m a strong advocate for the Second Amendment.

Molon labe. Catch y’all on the flip side.

P.S. You know who else didn’t like guns in the hands of the citizens? Hitler.
